I worked with Sister Margaret in Yarnell, Arizona, for one year around 1990, but her influence on me has lasted a lifetime. She was a firm but caring teacher who gave many, many young people the gift of proficiency in English. She was a great colleague with a wry sense of humor and great advice. Now a psychologist, I still use her saying with many clients: Blessings shared are doubled, troubles shared are halved. My condolences to her family and apologies for the lateness of the post (I just learned of her passing).

Aunt Margie, as she is afffectionately known in the family, was the youngest and last of that generation. She was wise and also talented in many ways. She was a wonderful seamstress, artist and teacher, along with being a real people-person in her everyday relationships. As each of us nieces and nephews lost our parents, she served as a loving bridge from them, giving us comfort. Her sense of humor was legendary to all that knew her. She leaves us as an example of Love, Fun and Faith.
