Javene M. Geiger, nee Plucar, of 1345 Quiant Road, Concordia, KS., died suddenly on Wednesday morning, Sept. 21, 2016. Formerly of Sega Drive in New Milford, CT., Javene was born in Agenda, KS to Ben and Frances Plucar, the youngest of four daughters. Her husband of 59 years, Guy G. Geiger passed in 2015; she is survived by 2 children, Gregory, who resides in CT and Pamela who resides in MD; she has two grandchildren, Justin Geiger of Fort Riley, KS and Darcey Wunker currently in China.
Javene attended the Agenda school system and in 1954 met Guy while he was stationed at Fort Riley, KS. She moved to New Milford, CT., married on July 17, 1954. She was an accomplished seamstress working for a variety of tailor shops and had a great love of plants. Javene and Guy moved to Concordia, KS after Guy retired from the A&P Company. She was a wonderful, caring woman that will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
