So sorry to hear of Aunt Marie's passing, and didn't know her given name was Etta (until now!). I am not on Facebook, and only get my information via Joyce or Jim. Wishing you comfort and love at this time; no words can describe losing a parent. Hope to see you this summer at family reunion and we will hug then!

Marie was a bright spot in my life. She repeatedly greeted me with "hello sunshine" when I entered the Catholic Thrift Shop. She was my personal shopper and selected clothing for me. I attribute any professionalism in my attire to her taste. She was kind and brought me joy each time I visited with her. I can truly say that I love her and will miss her presence in this life. I want to add that Lori did a terrific job in eulogizing her grandmother. May the family find peace in the thought that her loving memory lives on in those of us who were lucky enough to know her. She was blessed by the love of her family throughout her life.

KEEPING YOU CLOSE TO MY HEART. WE WERE SO LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO COME TO SEE MARIE A WEEK OR SO AGO. SHE WAS ALERT AND WE HAD A GREAT VISIT. SHE WAS SURROUNDED BY LOVE AND SUCH GREAT CARE.
