Barb and family, I cannot begin to imagine what you are going thru right now, but want you to know I felt very honored to know Gene and to call him my friend. You are in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Am so thankful he was able to eat lunch with "us girls" at our "tea party". Hugs to all

Gene was so kind and friendly, that even my kids remember him well from The Lean-to days. We are so sad to hear of his passing...he was much too young! However, we are comforted that he's up with Darlene Hoesli singing to her honky tonk worship songs! "This is the day...." Our love and sympathy to you
