Dear Eleanor and Family - Marcy, Kaden, Karly and I send sympathies to your family upon the loss of Darrell. We have many fond memories of time with your family over the years. Darrell was always friendly to us and went out of his way more than once to show that he cared. When I was a kid I always wanted to be like Rod and my brothers...so I set some traps and got lucky and caught two coons the first night. Darrell made a big deal of it and offered to show me how to skin a coon. He skinned both of them for me. We also did a fair amount of hunting back in the day and Darrell insisted on buying pizza for noon lunch. He was unique, he had a sense of humor which we could understand and appreciate, and you always knew where you stood with Darrell. He will be missed.
