Wilma Marie Weis Hardin Fraser

    Wilma, the daughter of Howard and Alice Mae Eckels Weis, the oldest of seven children was born March 26, 1934 at Minneapolis, Kansas. She passed away @ Via Christi Village, Manhattan, Kansas on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 20 days.

    She was married to A.L. "Buddy" Hardin in May 1952 until he died in May 1970. She married Alvin Lee Fraser in June 1972 until he died March 2002. A daughter Linda preceded her in death November 27, 2001.

    Wilma worked more than 30 years for Tri-Chen an international Hobbycraft company selling exclusive hobby paints. Many times she was one of the top 25 receiving new cars and prestigious gifts for her outstanding sales and recruiting performance.

    To Wilma, her home and family were most important. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her. And her love of animals for which she had many cats and dogs over the years.

    Survivors include 3 daughters Joyce Shafer of Rochelle, Illinois, Peggy and husband Kenny Richard of Havensville, Kansas, Nancy Ledgerwood and significant other Darrin Swink of Augusta, Kansas; one son Jim Hardin of Salina, Kansas. 14 Grandchildren Rachelle, Chris, Jeremy, Jessy Richard, Darryk and Davyd Ledgerwood, Megan Candora, Dustin Shafer, Rebecca, Cory Courtney Hardin, April Aten, Jason and Mindy Baccus. 22 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-Step grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday March 20, 2020 from 1:00pm-8:00pm at Nutter Mortuary with family present from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral Services will be Saturday March 21, 2020 at 2:00pm at Nutter Mortuary.

Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, KS.

Memorials have been established in memory of Wilma to be designated at a later date.
