Mary Ann loved telling stories about her childhood in Crossett, Arkansas.  She valued history and taught her children to also appreciate it during trips back to her hometown and other travels. Mary Ann was a gracious hostess to many events and had open arms for friends and relatives.  She loved animals, including several pets over the years.
