Larry DeWayne Nelson, age 63, of Concordia, KS., died at his home Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born October 20, 1952 to Vernon “Swede” and Alma (Danielson) Nelson in Concordia, KS.
Larry was a graduate of Concordia High School in 1970 and then attended Cloud County Community Junior College.
He was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church.
Before retiring in 2007, he worked for United Agri Products – Valley Fertilizer and was a farmer:
Survivors: Brother – Lynn E. Nelson (Linda) North Richland Hills, TX
Sister – Lynda Tobald (John) Glasco, KS
Aunt – Arlene Nelson – Concordia, KS
Stepmother – Shirley Nelson – Marysville, KS
Nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents: Gust A. and Matilda Margaret Danielson.
Funeral Services will be Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Concordia Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Janai Robinson and PMA Jim Winter officiating.
Burial following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Nutter Chapel. Family will be present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Emporia State University fbo: Stalcup/Elem/Danielson Scholarship Fund.
