Darrell Eugene Zohn

April 14, 1935 ~ August 15, 2016 (age 81) 81 Years Old

Darrell Eugene Zohn, son of Ben and Mildred (Parker) Zohn was born April 14, 1935 in Concordia, Kansas and passed away August 15, 2016 at Republic County Hospital at the age of 81 years, 4 months, 1 day. He graduated from Concordia High School.

Darrell was united in marriage to Eleanor Barleen on December 27, 1952, and to this union three children, Randall Eugene Zohn, Rodney Dean Zohn, and Rebecca Lynne Zohn were born.

Darrell was a farmer and rancher in the Norway area for the past 58 years. Before farming he worked for Western Light and Telephone in Great Bend, KS and also the Kansas State Experiment Field at Scandia, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister- Aurel Elliott and his in-laws George and Lucille Barleen.

He is survived by his       wife – Eleanor of the home.

                                                sister:  Sheryl Andersen of Lindsborg, KS

                                                                                Natasha Elwood

                                                                                Stephan (Rachel) Zohn

                                                                                Blake Reed

                                                5 Great – grandchildren

It was Darrell’s wish to be cremated with no service.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, rural Norway, Kansas.

Family and Friends may sign the register book Friday, August 19, 2016 at Nutter Mortuary from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to:
